Position: Account Manager

Location: Coral Gables, Florida

Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Summary:

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and knows how to deliver an excellent customer service experience. The position requires the candidate to be self-driven, detail oriented, and understand the importance of developing relationships to maintain and manage accounts. Account Management experience is helpful but someone with a good work ethic can be just as successful as someone with years of experience. This opportunity involves web based research, creating cost analysis for schools and customer interaction via the phone, email and direct mail to grow our established customer base.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Building strong client relationships to maintain accounts
  • Work diligently attaining specific booklist analysis, publisher information and school interaction in a timely manner
  • Work diligently to discuss book options with schools
  • Lead the school set up and roll over process
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that the team fulfills all customer requests
  • Resolve complaints in a timely manner while keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client's desires
  • Act as the client's representative to ensure that their needs are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
  • Communicate with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
  • Personalize the service for each customer
  • Stay up to date with current trends in this industry to effectively communicate with customers about products

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Position:
  • High level of personal initiative coupled with good planning, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are a must
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills in order to handle multiple clients and tasks at once, it's a fast paced industry
  • Persistence in troubleshooting issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google
  • Presents a professional image daily
  • Experience with computer software necessary
