Account Manager, Business Insurance

We will count on you to:

• Manage assigned accounts effectively on an ongoing basis. Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, complete applications, prepare submissions, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers and prepare proposals according to agency standards.
• Performs customers service and account management responsibilities that include resolving issues related to billing, making changes to policies, and responding to policy coverage related questions in a timely and professional manner in accordance with agency standards.
• Prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.
• Ensures accuracy, proper handling and appropriate distribution of binders, policies, endorsements, contract reviews and other requests from clients
• Participates in continuing education to maintain P&C license, stay current regulations and enhance insurance knowledge

What you need to have:

• Exhibit competent coverage, underwriting and risk management knowledge
• Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills essential
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and use time efficiently
• Self-starter, demonstrate resourcefulness and have good problem solving skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, agency management systems and web browser software

What you need to have:

• Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills are essential
• Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
