Pharmaron (Exton) Lab Services LLC is currently looking for a highly motivated Accountant to join our talented accounting team. We are searching for a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant to assist with daily accounting, month-end closing, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, and reconciling accounts. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this successful candidate will also work closely with Accounts Receivable and internal departments to assist with billing. Come grow with us!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, enter, and maintain journal entries for standard and recurring monthly activity and accruals assuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Help prepare financial statements consisting of Balance Sheet and Income Statement in conformance with GAAP.
• Prepare and assist in Balance Sheet reconciliations, research, and resolve differences.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, analysis of financial information, and detail general ledger account review.
• Provide backup support to process billing transactions in an accurate and timely manner meeting all deadlines.
• Work with Account Management and Project Management to ensure accurate pricing and timeliness of invoicing events.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and prepare bank statement reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly Revenue by Customer report and other accounting reports as needed.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
• Assist with inventory management and purchase analysis.
• Participate in Audit reviews with the Accounting Team for external audits.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Work on other financial and administrative responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 3-7 years of accounting experience with in depth knowledge of accounting and accounting principles. Experience in the service or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Skilled using various accounting ERP software, and experience in troubleshooting common accounting program problems. NetSuite experience is a plus.
