Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist maintains accurate payment information by auditing fast pace expenses, performing data entry, handling expense reports, check matching, and conducting research. This position answers vendor and customer questions to enable efficient payments and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Audits and approves daily and monthly lease-driven expenses.
• Negotiates any property damages incurred from a physician/clinician and process final move out expenses.
• Reviews and codes all AR refund checks.
• Makes collections calls to external vendors (security deposit collections).
• Researches ledger issues and potential errors by investigating relevant processes and systems (i.e. Great Plains).
• Prepares monthly reconciliation accounts.
• Reconciles and matches checks to ensure accurate records.
• Builds and maintains desktop procedures to meet ongoing needs of the organization.
• Responds to payment inquiries from internal customers in a timely manner in order to educate on process and resolve issues.
• Assists with job shadowing of new hires, and ongoing training when required.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree | Preferred
