ECS is seeking an Admin Specialist to work in our Washington, DC office.

Job Description:

  • Provide quality control for information documented in Electronic Communications (ECs), SAA information placed into GRC Tools, and all documents uploaded into Unit SharePoint sites.
  • Process all SAA packages to include reviewing and verifying information in templates, upload ECs into Sentinel, document in GRC Tools, and send emails to all Stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to peers regarding assigned areas of responsibilities to include SAA Process Overview, EC templates used within Sentinel, and GRC Tools (RiskVision and Xacta).
  • Provide assistance with the GRC Tool transition - systems in RiskVision moving to Xacta.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze security data and assist with data calls from the division as well as ensuring databases are updated.
  • Assess and evaluate Unit processes to provide recommendations for improving effectiveness and /or efficiency.
  • Participate in special and ad-hoc projects and/or working groups with various teams and units in support of the mission (i.e. Controls Initiative, System Owner Webinar presentation, Information System Security Manager (ISSM) team support).
  • Track and manage Inventory of PCs for two units, as well as personal property inventory.
  • Onboard new employees - prepare & determine desk location, welcome & introduce to team, and provide initial guidelines.
  • Generate weekly reports; update all admin documents; and track tasks.
  • Submit and track facility issue tickets, computer issue tickets, and telephone issue tickets.
  • Team member serves as a "go-to" person within the Unit who has knowledge of best practices and unique channels that may or may not be formally documented.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Required Skills:
  • Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Process development and improvement experience.
  • Security analysis experience.
  • SharePoint experience.

Desired Skills:
  • Security Assessment & Authorization (SAA) Process knowledge.
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) knowledge.
  • RiskVision and/or Xacta knowledge.
  • Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) knowledge.
  • Equipment Inventory Tracking knowledge.
