Ancillary Sales Specialist

Our Ancillary Specialist oversees, supports and develops partner relationships to optimize and grow performance and product memberships. This position partners with the Director Individual Markets on strategy, conducts research, and provides product input on data trends to lead initiatives to enhance the company's competitive position in the market.

Location: requires a local presence in the Meridian Idaho area. After an onsite training period, this position has flexibility to work hybrid location (onsite Meridian Idaho campus, business field, and work-from-home). #LI-Hybrid

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one year college)

Required Licenses/Certifications: State of Idaho Resident License or must obtain within 120 days of hire

Required Travel: may travel and/or attend offsite events during and outside of standard work hours

Required Experience: 4/+ years' health industry, marketing, sales, communications, product/program development, or related experience. Ideally includes:

  • Dental and vision industry acumen with the ability to drive business strategies and grow market share. Previous experience in dental/ancillary product is preferred, and will be extremely beneficial in this role
  • Interpersonal skills and professional rapport while engaging internal/external customers
  • Ability to communicate and connect with diverse audience(s), through effective presentation and training skills (written/oral)
  • Familiarity with use of CRM tool(s) such as Salesforce, is preferred

Your day may look like:
  • Provides direction to the company's competitive position in the market by evaluating, identifying, and prioritizing opportunities to grow performance and product memberships.
  • Remains current on industry trends, competitive market trends, regulatory conditions serving as a subject matter expert for internal and external partners.
  • Serves as a liaison and knowledge expert for internal sales and partners by providing in-field support, and strategic training to internal teams services, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to drive success and sales.
  • Develops business relationships with key collaborators in partnership with the sales team by representing the company at various industry functions, including offsite meetings, industry functions and tradeshows.
  • Prepares various presentations, collaborates with sales on proposals and promotions to optimize and grow performance and membership.
  • Regularly communicates with leaders, to review status of the Business Plan including discussion on strategy, results, utilization of resources, customer experience and issue resolution.
  • May identify and coordinate process improvements efforts, training, communications, and/or product and sales tools and resources by collaborating with departments across the organization.
