RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Ansible Automation Engineer in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Fort Collins, CO.Overview:An Automation Engineer is a professional who creates and maintains automated solutions for various processes and systems using different tools and technologies. Automation engineers work with other engineers, developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of the automation projects.Responsibilities:- Ansible Automation Engineer will design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions for various processes and systems, such as web applications, databases, networks, infrastructure, and bare-metal workstations
- Identify and analyze the automation needs and opportunities of the organization and propose suitable solutions
- Create and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using various tools and technologies, such as Ansible, Digital Rebar, Python, and GitHub
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of the automation solutions and ensure that they are error-free and up-to-date
- As an Ansible Automation Engineer, you will monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the automation solutions and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
- Document and report the automation results and metrics and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as an automation engineer or a similar role
- Strong knowledge and skills in automation tools and technologies, such as Ansible, Digital Rebar, Python, and GitHub
- Knowledge of client OS and BIOS fundamentals
- Prometheus and Grafana experience preferred
- Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions for various processes and systems, such as web applications, databases, networks, infrastructure, and bare-metal workstations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new automation tools and technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements and environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
