Position: AR/Collections/Cash Application Specialist
Location: Concord - 100% On-site
Duration: Temporary, with potential for temp-to-hire
Pay: $31-37/hour
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a multifaceted role focusing on AR, collections, and cash application. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity for growth within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling billing, cash applications, and collections, comprising approximately 50% of the roleManaging various city permits, taxes, fees, insurance, and sidewalk repairs billingNavigating insurance claims, small claims court processes, and submissions to the Franchise Tax BoardDiligently following up on delinquent accounts and subrogation claimsMonitoring aging accounts receivable and ensuring timely paymentsPerforming account maintenance and troubleshooting technical issues within our software systemsTop Priorities:
Proficiency with Lawson, Excel, Ascella, and other relevant software for billing and payment processingSelf-starter mentality with strong follow-through on insurance claims and collections tasksOwnership of job responsibilities and proactive approach to problem-solvingAbility to collaborate with permitting teams, IT, and other departments to resolve system issuesResourcefulness in managing non-integrated systems and adapting to changing requirementsIf you're ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role and meet the qualifications outlined above, we want to hear from you!
