Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Dean for EDI, the Assistant Director of EDI supports and guides EDI and racial equity initiatives, activities, and programs - including supporting and implementing the SPHTM Strategy for Tomorrow plan. The Assistant Director of EDI achieves defined objectives by implementing and managing programs and initiatives; proactively seeking and establishing relationships between internal and external partner organizations serving the SPHTM community as an EDI resource; managing the intake and triage of events submitted to the incident reporting system. The assistant director serves as a liaison with Communications for values, policies, and processes and evaluation of EDI indicators and metrics across SPHTM. They will also serve as the point of contact for student organizations for collaboration and student support.

Required Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Public Health, Organizational Change, Leadership, Behavioral Health, or related field.* 2 to 4 years of managerial and leadership experience, preferably in a higher education institution* 2 to 4 years of experience in EDI related program and data management

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of SPHTM mission relative to research, education, and service* Experience in academic settings
