Associate Change Specialist - Configuration Management

Sterling Heights, MI

Contract Position

$31.82 - $35.66/Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Receive and refine problem reports, deriving Change Requests (CRs) and Requests for Variance (RFVs) with initial information for processing.
• Prepare Engineering Change Order (ECO) packages and Engineering Release Record (ERR) deliveries for customer review.
• Manage and promote CRs and RFVs through the approval process.
• Create and process Change Orders (COs) from CRs, ensuring completion after necessary reviews.
• Maintain accurate Configuration Management (CM) files and records.
• Collaborate with Design Services Project Coordinators to align Configuration Control activities with program priorities.
• Provide support for Change Specialist 1 tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (consideration given to other disciplines with relevant experience).
• Experience: 3-5 years in a technical support role; experience with Teamcenter is highly desired.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Other Requirements:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • U.S. Person status (lawful permanent resident).
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
