The Associate Sales Engineer is an introductory position responsible for direct contact with dealers and representatives. This position identifies the needs and expectations of each project effectively through orders, quotations, and drawings.

Major Accountability:

  • Accurate and efficient data entry of various order transactions and promotions
  • Manages projects to completion
  • Gains knowledge and expertise in configuring custom solutions to address customer needs
  • High degree customer satisfaction
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and anticipate complex customer needs and translate to configurable and custom products.
  • Process orders accurately within assigned timelines.
  • Process incoming orders from direct buy customers Importation (paperwork and logistics) of all the materials that will be crossing the border to production.
  • Originate or revise quotations and/or drawings to meet project needs.
  • Provide support role to Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Parts and Credit departments regarding customer's business before and after the sale.
  • Check others work for accuracy and conformance to product and quotation templates.
  • Ensure adequate import and export tax payment to avoid fines and penalties.

  • Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    • Strong communication skills in the verbal and written form.
    • Keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to interpret and understand construction documents and specifications.
    • Ability to apply basic math principles.
    • Good keyboarding skills.
    • Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel required - PowerPoint is useful).
