Job Description

Position Summary:

Be part of a growing team in a dynamic environment! The ideal candidate would perform high-throughput screening experiments involving protein kinase targets in support of drug discovery. Lab responsibilities include assay execution, reagent preparation, and cross-group support if needed to support the Protein Kinase Screening Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executes 384-well microplate biochemical assay measuring interactions between small molecules and target proteins

• Utilizes liquid handling equipment such as ECHO, plate washers, V-preps, combi and other liquid handling equipment to accommodate high-throughput screening operations

• Prepares reagents, performs reagent QC, and chemistry-related calculations as needed

• Maintain consumables as needed

• Follow all SOPs as defined and communicated

• Participation in and presentation at group laboratory meetings

• Perform other duties as required and assigned

• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner. Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness

• Adjusts work hours as needed to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

Education/Experience(BMQ):

B.S. in biological or physical sciences and at least 0-2 year of relevant

Industry experience. Motivated individual with experience working in fast- paced environments. Willingness to take initiative in support of HTS team.

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

Experience working in a cell culture lab maintaining mammalian cell lines.

Skilled with Excel and Word software. Good oral and written communication skills.
