RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Azure Data Engineer/Lead/Analyst in Grapevine, TX.Key Responsibilities:Design and Build Data Sets:- Azure Data Engineer/Lead/Analyst will design, develop, and maintain datasets in Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Database
- Extract and transform data from diverse source systems to ensure accurate and reliable datasets
- Collaborate with security engineers to implement and maintain data security measures in accordance with best practices and organizational policies
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards
- Actively participate in production support activities to address and resolve issues in the live system
- As an Azure Data Engineer/Lead/Analyst, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve data-related problems promptly
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and developers, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute insights to enhance overall data engineering processes
- Azure Data Engineer/Lead/Analysts document design decisions, data flows, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability of data solutions
- Keep documentation up to date to reflect changes in data engineering processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Python
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience in extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various source systems
- Knowledge of data security best practices and experience implementing security measures
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a production environment
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
