Location of position: YRTC-H 4200 West Second St. Hastings, NE 68901
Work schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. days off Sunday-Monday
Examples of Work
A unique opportunity to join the YRTC-Hastings and YRTC-Kearney. This position will work between Hastings to Kearney performing Barber/Beautician services with female and male youth. Cuts, shampoos, combs, colors, waves and conditions hair. Cuts, trims, tapers and grooms hair using clippers, comb and scissors. Maintains and repairs barbering and beauty equipment and beauty tools. Prepares germicidal solutions for disinfecting barbering and beauty tools. Maintains a safe and sanitary work area. Maintains a schedule of barber or beauty appointments. Requisitions supplies and maintains working inventory. Instructs residents on good grooming and personal hygiene.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from a barber or beauty school.
