The Business Analyst -Distribution Ops is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting healthcare distribution operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of both business processes and healthcare industry dynamics. As a Healthcare Distribution Operations Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency in the distribution of healthcare products. The Business Analyst reports directly to the Director, Supply Chain MMIS. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: a.Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in healthcare distribution operations. b.Generate and present insightful reports to support decision-making processes for the distribution team and other stakeholders. c.Ensure reorder reports are updated monthly which includes moving demand to proper locations, updating lead times, and deleting irrelevant comments. d.Runs analysis, as necessary, to confirm stocking locations and minimum order quantities are still appropriate. e.Responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financials in DMS, which includes but is not limited to, journal entries and item pricing discrepancies. a.Manage assigned Principals keeping inventory turns, service levels, and slow-moving stock within set KPIs. b.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current business processes related to healthcare distribution operations. c.Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall operational effectiveness a.Work closely with end-users, business leaders, and IT teams to gather and document functional requirements for system enhancements or new tools to support distribution operations. a.Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions that align with the needs of healthcare distribution operations. b.Conduct testing and validation of system changes to ensure they meet business requirements. a.Facilitate workshops and discussions to identify areas for continuous improvement in healthcare distribution processes. b.Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of process improvements. c.Participates in ongoing education to improve personal and job skills which includes attending conferences, webinars, cross training, etc. Required Minimum Education:
  • Bachelors Information Technology or Bachelors Business Information Systems
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of related experience preferred. A minimum of five (5) years equivalent combination of education and IT experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Required Required Minimum Skills: Ability to meet deadlines and goals by prioritization and effective time management. High Ability to complete root cause analysis to fix problems and not symptoms. Reporting Skills Analyzing Information Strong Communication, Sound Judgment and Discretion, Advanced Excel and Word skills Computer/Data Entry, multi-tasking. Exhibits ambition and willingness to learn. Proven track record of efficiently managing the companys investment in inventory through strategic planning.
