The Business Analytics team is responsible for driving operational efficiencies, refining data processes, and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve organizational objectives. As a Business Analyst, you will conduct in-depth analysis to support evolving business needs, proactively seek out data sources and analytics to provide business intelligence and insights, and ensure data is appropriately validated. This role will also ensure reporting is completed accurately and efficiently to support the business unit's strategic decision making and goal achievement. The Business Analyst will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic data analytics to internal and/or external key stakeholders.

Role & Responsibility

  • Communicate and provide accurate, timely and informative business analytics, intelligence, forecasts, and insights to key-decision makers within the product or functional division.
  • Audit internal and external data for accuracy, identify any discrepancies or errors, and propose solutions to ensure accuracy of downstream reporting.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement new data sources to strengthen analytical capabilities.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing applications/dashboards to improve current user experience and provide meaningful insights for teams to utilize in decision-making.
  • Assess different solutions and technologies to determine the best fit for meeting the identified requirements, considering factors such as cost, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in the development of Business Analytics strategies to identify new opportunities for operational efficiencies, scalability, increased market share and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Utilize available and relevant reports and datasets to produce ad-hoc and/or routine industry and Bobcat performance analytics and forecasts, based on quantitative & qualitative analysis.
  • Provide a set of business intelligence (e.g., macro indicators, competitive dynamics, VOC) to support industry forecasts.
  • Provide business and systems expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing specifications and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Lead the creation of and enhancement to existing analytics platforms.
  • Establish and document standard processes to ensure quality, reproducibility, and accessibility for critical datasets.
  • Train users on use, application, and interpretation of reporting and decision-making models.
  • Gather user feedback for enhancements and development needs.
  • Foster team growth by mentoring peers.
  • Gather and analyze resource data with cross-functional team members to identify constraints and resolve time-related or resource constraints.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Related experience: 2-5 years' experience.
  • Experience with relational data management and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
  • Programming and scripting background, such as Python or R is a plus.
  • SAP, Oracle experience preferred.
  • High degree of math and statistical skills/understanding.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High degree of fluency in Microsoft Suite applications, including system reporting tools, and experience with Power Automate or SharePoint.
  • Experience communicating insights and storylines to team leaders.
  • Experience developing standard processes and implementing improvements in response to feedback and identified need.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Travel: < 10%.
