Responsible for:

  • Analyze market trends; volume, capacity, and price trends and identify competition product strategy.
  • Identify new target markets through market analysis, competition benchmarking.
  • Devise new rotations or optimize existing rotations to improve profitability or schedule reliability.
  • Conduct profitability analysis and risk assessement
  • Understand customer needs and support developing necessary end-to-end products collaborating with operational teams. Support project management of product launch.
  • Support M&A targeting through market research and financial analysis.
  • Support analysis for building product partnerships with regional shipping lines.
  • Assist increating business plans and presentations to Top Management.
  • Analyze and develop reporting for Trade Team for better decision making.

Skills, knowledge, and abilities required:
  • Undergrad in Business or Engineering required
  • Minimum 3-year work experience required
  • Strong analytical skills, data analysis and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in profit and loss analysis
  • Ability to create and analyze Business Cases.
  • Ability to create presentation for proposals.
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
  • Excellent Communication skills and Team player

Skills, Knowledge, and abilities, preferred:

  • Masters and MBA is preferred
  • Maritime Industry knowledge is preferred
