Business Relations & Development Specialist - Healthworks Administration - Lynchburg, VA

Job Description:

The Business Relations and Development Specialist is responsible for enhancing the overall operating efficiency and excellence of the sales function to drive revenue through new and existing accounts. This position reports to the Director of HealthWorks and works with the operations and clinical team to achieve the financial goals of the company. The Business Relations and Development Specialist will focus employers, brokers, sales leads, associations, and other key stakeholders. This role should promote customer awareness, customer retention, and collaboration. This position will work collaboratively with HealthWorks leadership and multiple cross functional teams.

Qualifications/Education/Licensure:

Bachelor's Degree in any sales/marketing or related field of study.

3+ years of experience in B2B sales, customer services, and administrative support.
Highly skilled in relationship building; Customer-centric orientation with the ability to build relationships via email, telephonic, and in person.
Understanding of the sales territory: Lynchburg Area, Altavista Area, Farmville Area, Bedford Area, Amherst Area, and the Appomattox area.
Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
Ability to function independently and on a team with a high degree of accuracy and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Professional email, writing, and speaking skills; necessary to communicate clearly and accurately to both internal and external clients.
Professional demeanor required with ability to interact with many people in sometimes challenging circumstances.
Ability to read a customer and a room and adapt the conversation to suit.
Ability to develop professional presentations meant for a variety of audiences.
Critical thinking and analysis.
Excellent organizational skills, adherence to deadlines, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
Excellent proficiency in Office 365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience using Salesforce application or other CRM Platforms for account management, communication, and reporting requirements.
Experience with DocuSign.
Strong skills in marketing platforms MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, Canva, and other tools used to connection with accounts.
Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
Ability to travel locally 50%-75% of the time.

Preferred:

Industry knowledge and delivery experience
Experience presenting to C- Suite and/or additional business leadership
Knowledge in Contract Development and Language
Experience with LEAN thinking
