Job Description:


This position serves as the first point of contact for all visitors to campus. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating campus visits for prospective students, preparing all materials for each visit, and answering the main admission line.


  • Provide courteous, accurate and timely customer service to prospective students, families, and any additional campus visitor who enters the admission office.
  • Manage all aspects of prospective student and group visits.
  • Coordinate all information regarding requests for personal and group visits. Make arrangements with appropriate admission staff, faculty, coaches, and student ambassadors based on student or family requests.
  • Communicate with prospective students and/or families regarding campus visit information.
  • Manage communication with admission counselors and student ambassadors regarding visits.
  • Coordinate individual scholarship interviews for prospective students.
  • Responsible for direction of student employees when involved with the prospective students visit.
  • Input prospective student data acquired from various sources, including online or over the phone, into Slate.
  • Maintain order and neatness in the office to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  • Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.


Requirements:


  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Objective, enthusiastic, committed, flexible and proactive.
  • Professional demeanor and works well with others.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technology.
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative to find solutions to problems.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, energy, humor, and the ability to convey this through phone and email communications.
