ECS is seeking a Capability Support Office Deputy to work in our Arlington, VA office.

Job Description:

ECS is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the Capability Support Office (CSO) of the Army Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A), the Army's #1 IT priority, at their program office in Crystal City, VA. The deputy will help transform an existing program into a high-functioning delivery team. The ideal candidate will work effectively across teams of contractors, subcontractors, and sponsors to increase knowledge and use of Agile principles and best practices, and support the creation/maintenance of backlogs, artifacts, tracking and reporting metrics. Additionally, the Deputy Program Manager will:

  • Work closely with the system integrators and functional management teams to ensure systems and operations are in alignment.
  • Work closely with the Capability Support Office (CSO) Govt. lead to obtain guidelines for all compliance taskers and requests.
  • Establish, monitor, measure, assess, and report performance metrics for investments.
  • Develop executive-level reports and provide support for PfM process assets.
  • Ensure IPPS-A is in compliance with all governance requirements.
  • Manage the CSO support staff to ensure quality reviews have been attained for all tasks delivered.

Required Skills:
  • 10 years information technology experience.
  • 10 years program management experience.
  • Strong communication skills
  • US Citizen
  • A Department of Defense Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
