Homestead at Coon Rapids is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Compensation:

VOANS uses a pay scale based on years of experience $15.00 up to $17.60

Hours include: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm & 11pm- 7am

Essentials:

• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Documentation of cares given and pertinent observations. Reports any observations to the nurse.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers and exercise.
• Reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • High school graduate or equivalent.
• Process the ability to read, write and carry out directions.
• Have demonstrated the ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgment.
• Have demonstrated dependability, tact, and ability to follow orders.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in assisted living.
