MAPMG is seeking to hire a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our practice at Kaiser Permanente Kensington Medical Center and Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our clinicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

  • Join a team of providers attending 170-185 births per month with an 18-20% C-section rate
  • Full-Scope Midwifery practice including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care
  • Flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work collaboratively with our outstanding supportive physicians

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent is required for the position is required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a full scope midwifery practice, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care is required
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Midwife in the State of Maryland
  • Successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) is required
  • Board certified by American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) is required
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required
  • Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) must be obtained within the first year of hire
  • As a condition of employment, all clinicians and employees are required to verify Covid-19 vaccination status
