ECS is seeking a Change Specialist to work in our Sierra Vista, AZ office.

Job Description:

The capabilities included in our solution are the most advanced endpoint security technologies, analytics, expertise, and process integrations Intel Security offers. As the AESS mission is very broad, and our team has established novel approaches within an ITIL framework to support delivery of an outstanding service to the customer; in the implementation and operation of established AESS Change, Configuration and Release Management processes consistent with DoD and Army standards.

  • Support day-to-day Change management activities from creation through closure
  • Review/Process Change Requests
  • Receive/record information into AESS configuration management tool (BMC Footprints)
  • Communicate change status to AESS teams, external stakeholders, and government personnel
  • Facilitate/participate in Change Board meetings; communicate outcomes and delegate tasks
  • Review incidents/tasks in AESS ServiceNow and Remedy platforms (understand Service Request Management Process)
  • Gather and provide data from AESS ServiceNow and Remedy platforms to leadership
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of Configuration Management process
  • Provide training for AESS personnel as required
  • Perform audits, manage inventory, scan, and catalog Configuration Items (CIs) within Footprints Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Review/relate Change requests (CRQs), relate CRQs and CIs as appropriate
  • Track Software and Hardware maintenance renewals; including license information
  • Manage day-to-day Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) and Break-Fix process
  • Maintain Change, Configuration, ASI, and Service Management processes documentation.
Required Skills:
  • BS/BA and/or 5-10 years' experience
  • Minimum Top-Secret clearance is required
  • DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date
  • IAT Level I ITIL Foundation v3/v4
  • 5-10 years support in Change/Configuration Management
  • Familiar with IT service management tools (Footprints, Remedy ITSM, ServiceNow)
  • Familiar with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM); ITIL Service Transition and Service Operations lifecycle stages
  • Support continual ITIL-based process improvement
  • Experience developing functional documentation
  • Familiar with basic principles of cybersecurity
  • Provide guidance to AESS personnel on Configuration/Change Management, and ASI processes
Desired Skills:
  • IAT Level I ITIL Foundation v3/v4
  • At least one year experience in Change or Configuration management in a large-scale (DoD) environment
  • Critical thinking, information management, effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a variety of teams and roles
