What we need:

We are looking for a Channel Specialist to help execute our go-to-market strategy. This role will oversee the entire Sample SKU lifecycle from new style launch through phase out and drop.

Our Channel Specialist is responsible for meeting all customer needs and continuously seeking opportunities to build a trusting relationship with assigned customer groups.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with product team, sales and marketing to ensure samples are set up correctly and production will meet given deadlines.
  • Will be over 12 major accounts such as Lowes, Home Depot, and Carpet One, and 15 minor accounts like Floors to Go and FCI.
  • Responsible for meeting the annual launce demand and servicing market needs during convention season.
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of labels, cards, decks, blankets, etc., including when product or strategies changes occur, informing samples master data team when edits are required.
  • Create and maintain sample project tracking grids and produce reports to measure KPI's against departmental goals.
  • Identify and implement best practices to enable better performance of the entire team and organization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned customer(s) through effective communication, quick resolution of issues or complaints, accurate status updates, etc.
  • Load product demand into IBP system for designated channel merchandising samples.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related discipline (preferred)
  • Ability to collect, analyze and report data in a concise, accurate and well-organized format

  • Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism.
  • Responding quickly to customer/consumer issues with a positive and empathetic attitude.
  • Presenting and explaining technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
  • Problem solving, including identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of goals.
  • Providing a strong attention to detail and accuracy to daily tasks, as well as special projects.
