Kerr offers a continuum of mental health services for children, teens, and their families. You'll work with individuals served in our community based, outpatient, and inpatient programs. Services focus on mental health stabilization, psychiatric evaluation, and transitional planning.

Our Psychiatrists love having flexible schedules and are inspired by the impact they make as part of a collaborative team. When you join, we'll work with you to determine your ideal schedule for this 32 hour per week position. About 50-75% of duties will be performed in-person with a mix of telemedicine.

You'll provide comprehensive psychiatric medical care to youth experiencing an acute psychiatric episode. This includes psychiatric evaluation, medication prescription and management, and care coordination with other staff and community members.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a child psychiatry fellowship prior to starting position. Must be eligible to hold full prescriptive authority in Oregon/independent Oregon medical license and DEA number.
  • Be board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • CPR or BLS certification eligible.
