Cloud Systems Administrator

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Create and maintain IT production environments in AWS.
• Collaborate on the maintenance of SaaS production and test environments in AWS.
• Run regular checks on network, data security, system audits and backups.
• Establish and maintain infrastructure controls, policies and procedures.
• Perform automated cloud deployments for business applications, monitoring and alerts, review of application logs and completion of scheduled jobs and backups.
• Perform periodic performance reporting to conduct and implement capacity planning.
• Perform routine network maintenance, including installation of upgrades and service packs.
• Develop engineering design packages to integrate new processes and integrate into existing ones.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of technical experience building IT Cloud Infrastructure, including Network & Security systems in AWS.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience programming in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Bash and PowerShell and other object-oriented languages.
• Experience with DevOps automation tools to implement CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
