CNC Machine Operator (Weekends)

Volt is immediately hiring CNC Machinists (Weekends) in Monroe, NC.

As a CNC Machinist you will:

• Operate a CNC Mill or CNC Lathe.
  
• Perform setups with assistance.
  
• Load and unload parts.
  
• Deburring parts.
  
• Changing tool offsets.
  
• Verifying Part dimensions.
  
• Detect out of tolerance situations and making simple adjustments.
  
• Detect any machine malfunctions.
  
• Perform appropriate Preventative Maintenance and Pre-operational checks.
  
• Maintain work area in a safe and clean condition.
  
• Adhere to 5s practices.
  

This is a full time opportunity with OT.

Shifts Available:

Friday - Sunday; 5am - 5pm

Friday - Sunday; 5pm - 5am

The ideal CNC Machinist candidate will have:

• 3+ years' experience at operating CNC Lathe, or CNC Mill.
  
• Knowledge of program codes and ability to perform simple program edits.
  
• Knowledge and ability to use precision measuring instruments.
  
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and work instructions.
  
• Knowledge of Cutting tools, Fixtures, and other accessories used in production.
  
• Ability to follow Written and Oral instructions.
  
• Ability to work and succeed in a team environment.
  
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
  
• A practical exam will be administered during the interview.
  

Pay Rate: $25/hour.
