JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:

Provide headquarter sales support for assigned National Account. Support National Account Executive driving sales across all product platforms through National Account's distribution network as well as drop ship. Play a critical support role in driving revenue and expanding distribution in the co-op channel and the organization as well as provide retail support and trade show planning.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

  • Exceed assigned sales quota/plan through increasing distribution of product platforms and promotional opportunities through the warehouse and drop ship by working with National Account's merchant and marketing team.
  • Work cross functionally with Category Management, Distribution, Brand, Trade, Customer Service, Forecasting and Finance to deliver on National Account's growth objectives.
  • Engage the field to support National Account's objectives in order to deliver on their needs.
  • Direct account responsibility for 2-3 key accounts working with Zone and Area Managers to drive results. Manage all aspects of the business including:
    • Line Reviews
    • Profit and Loss
    • Promotions
    • Returns and Allowances
    • Trade Shows
    • Forecasting
    • Project Management
  • Lead trade show/market development and execution.
  • Manage samples and empty can process in anticipation of line reviews.
  • Work in tandem with National Account Executive for our Cleaning platform to gain distribution.
  • Primary contact for field requests.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • 5 + years of Sales Field experience. Key account management a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated track record of leading customers to growth.
  • Previous experience with 2 step distribution preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong computer application knowledge including Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as familiarity working with customer portals.
  • SAP, Brio, Business Warehouse preferred
  • 30-40% Travel
