The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies and tactics to engage and inform employees across all levels of the organization and determine what information should be shared externally. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Marketing, and Business Development, to ensure effective and consistent communication across the organization.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an internal and external communication plan that supports the overall business strategy.
  • Create and distribute internal communications, through various mediums to ensure consistent and timely messaging to employees.
  • Work with senior management to determine external communication messages and create a strategy for sharing this information (press releases, website, social media, marketing materials, events)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute internal communication campaigns to support key initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, culture initiatives, and business goals.
  • Plan and execute internal events, such as town halls, employee appreciation events, and other internal communication-related events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders globally to ensure alignment and collaboration on communication initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communications, preferably in the CRO/CDMO industry.
  • Strong communication and writing skills with experience in developing and executing communication plans, messaging, and content.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with content management systems and digital communications tools, including intranets and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Understanding of the CRO/CDMO industry and the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and concise language for non-technical audiences.
