This role works closely with and provides support for the Community Relations team. The Company Mascot helps represent Sargento at weekend events, in parades, and on social media channels. They engage with the community to build awareness and liking for the company and uphold and demonstrate the values of Sargento at all times*Realize your ambition. Say cheese!*

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:*



* Participate in spontaneous crowd interaction 

* Remain energized and engaged 

* Professionally interact with both employees and fans 

* Provide input on making appearances more enjoyable for fans 

* Preserve identity of the mascot without deviating from established character including body language, mannerisms, attitude, and fan interaction 

* Read social cues to understand level of interaction fan wants 

* Interact well with children, families, and pets 

* Pose for photographs 

* Assist in bringing social media trends to life in costume, as needed 

* Be silent, using exaggerated movements and entertaining behavior to communicate 

* Ensure the costume is worn correctly 

* Represent the values of Sargento in a positive and friendly manner 

* Punctually adhere to event agendas 

* Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays 


*Qualifications*



* Current college student 

* 18 years of age or older 

*  Must be able to work 8-16 hours/week primarily during weekends and holidays, as well as some evenings 

* Available from mid-May to mid-August 

* Valid driver's license and vehicle required
