Job Description

• Understand the Biopharma and laboratory business domain and provide a proactive, professional technical support service for applications following ITIL guidelines.
• IT Support and maintenance of business applications and related infrastructure to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of global business operations.
• Create productive relationships with key users, vendors, colleagues to ensure timely and efficient resolution of incidents/problems and prompt implementation of changes in line with Quality compliance and IT Service/Operational Level Agreements.
• Work closely and collaborate with the Business Operations and Information Technology teams to support laboratory systems, process improvements and contribute in setting up computer systems.
• System administration by co-coordinating requests for granting & revoking access to systems and information within agreed parameters; ensuring compliance with all IT security/data policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation / knowledgebase to ensure support, maintenance and recovery of all IT systems. Including system descriptions / configurations, change management, policies & procedures to meet Quality standards.
• Where required contribute to the training to ensure the correct implementation and use of the applications/systems within the business.

Qualifications

• Self-organizing, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with troubleshooting and complex problem-solving ability.
• Strong Computing and or IT background with at least 3-5 years of related work experience.
• You have attention to detail and are motivated by high quality results. Capable of supporting multiple projects and are able to work in an agile way.
• You have practical knowledge and experience with some or all of the following: laboratory equipment, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Analysers, Reporting, Databases, Interfaces, etc.
