Daniels Health is on the search for natural leader with a passion for continuous improvement and operational efficiency, which is why we've opened the doors for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our national support team. This role will encompass a national focus on facilitating cost savings and continuous business improvement, especially in systems and processes relating to service excellence, productivity, quality, safety and environmental compliance.
What you will do
- Analyze processes including partnering with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities, present ideas, make recommendations, and implement changes to further business goals
- Management of specific projects as directed by Senior Leadership
- Coordinate internal communication forums for field-based and office-based employees
- Contribute to operational efficiencies in order to reduce cost
- Liaison between local plant team and support office personnel
- Post-acquisition implementation and training of Daniels Health procedures
- Implement, train, manage and enforce health and safety systems, policies and procedures
- Producing regular reporting to key internal stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- 5 years of experience in a leadership position
- Experience in Manufacturing, Waste management or Service industries is preferred but not required
- Proven success in root-cause analysis, continuous improvement and change management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Excellent project management skills
- Flexible and adaptive approach to change
- Team player who can build partnerships in cross functional teams
- Experience creating SOP's and training materials
