What we’re looking for:

Business-savvy, safety-oriented, and relationship-focused leader to ensure efficient, safe and profitable operation of a crane rental branch. This role requires experience in the construction and/or heavy equipment rental industry. This position is a blend of technical and logistics knowledge, financial and business acumen, and the art of people leadership. This is a full-time, exempt position that works primarily from the Carteret, NJ branch, but may travel to job sites as necessary.



What does this role do?

The Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of a multi-million-dollar branch operation. This includes creating and executing an annual budget, supporting the sales efforts and logistics of job planning and execution, in addition to compliance and ensuring the safety of our employees and job sites. Our Branch Managers are the face of Maxim Crane Works; fostering positive, lasting relationships with employees and customers is a key aspect of this position.

You have:


* Bachelor’s degree
* 5 years related experience in the construction or rental industry, experience with cranes highly desirable
* Versed in financial statements and budgets; can assess earnings and spending to find areas for improvement
* Highly adaptable; you can expertly identify priorities; shift focus and get the team to do the same
* Keen project management skills; you can effectively handle a variety of projects at once, keeping them on schedule and on budget.
* High aptitude for interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills; others leave interactions with you feeling motivated, inspired, and respected.
* Ability to build and foster collaborative working relationships across the organization
* Adept at problem-solving with an ability to anticipate challenges and mitigate them
* Versed with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; you can use some of the more advanced features in each of these programs.
