Brooks is looking for a Credit and Collections Manager as we accelerate our growth journey.

This role will manage the Credit and Accounts Receivable processes, including month-end close, and assist the Treasury / AR Manager with quarter-end analysis as required. Manage and develop a small team to ensure timely, efficient, and effective process invoicing through accounts receivable. Utilize your collaboration and critical thinking skills to resolve problems; and collaborate across functions to initiate process improvements and solutions in order to scale for business growth and acquisitions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the Collections team to ensure timely credit evaluation, order hold management, account reconciliation, payment commitment, write-offs, and general account management.
  • Manage daily credit and collections activities.
  • Monitor credit and collections practices to ensure bad debt risk mitigation in full compliance with applicable policies.
  • Deliver regular management reporting on account credit and collections activities, including problem accounts, bad debt reserve, settlements, and write-offs.
  • Assign and monitor individual and team performance goals, and drive accountability for Credit and Collections KPIs. Ensure integrity and proper importation of A/R and Billing data into the GL.
  • Assist in development of AR forecasts/goals and identify weekly targets to reach monthly collection goals.
  • Build cross functional relationships with global controllers, sales, and customer service.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to development and execution of new policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Support company-level projects as required.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • BS/BA in a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience in a Credit / Collections role.
  • Experience managing a Credit / Collections team.
  • Experience managing to Credit / Collections metrics.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements to drive industry leading DSO (Day Sales Outstanding).
