Description: Seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our growing Cybersecurity team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will support the growth of this fast-paced, dynamic, high-tech manufacturing company as we work to enhance our global security program. The ideal candidate is a diligent, hardworking individual who has experience working as a cybersecurity analyst/engineer for a global organization. This individual will help to deploy, optimize and automate our various cybersecurity solutions in order to deliver an efficient and effective security program. The Cybersecurity Engineer will report to the Global Security Director.

DUTIES Perform the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures. Act as a subject matter expert with regard to securing Microsoft infrastructure and applications, including Active Directory and O365. Help to design, monitor, and enforce controls on all information systems, including employee and mobile equipment. Recommend and facilitate improvements for countermeasures based on the identified techniques, tactics, procedures, and behavior patterns used by adversaries. Support the selection, design, development, and implementation of cyber and information security technology. Maintain current knowledge of IT security solutions, improved security processes and the development of emerging attacks and threat vectors. Monitor, configure and upgrade the necessary security controls and procedures in order to cost-effectively protect IT assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction. Execute projects professionally and on time by managing and delivering the various components that create a security solution; this includes the identification, design and implementation of the various technologies.

Requirements:

• Between 5-7 years of cybersecurity experience working in a global organization.
• Good judgment, a sense of urgency and demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics and integrity.
• Passion for Cyversecurity, continually learning about new attacks, new threat vectors, and defenses. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a distributed team environment.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Ability to frame and communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong IT background with expert level knowledge in one or more security practice areas (endpoint protection, vulnerability management, network security monitoring, incident response, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft networking as well as Active Directory hardening and security monitoring.
• ignificant experience with Linux, Windows, firewalls, TCP/IP and network infrastructure.
• Broad knowledge and experience across IT infrastructure with security frameworks and standards such as MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST-CSF and other relevant security-related regulations.
• Able to effectively analyze risk within the context of business problems.
• Solid understanding as to how to mitigate risks with common security controls.
• Skilled with at least one common scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl, PowerShell) is a plus. Experience with hands-on configuration and operation of security tools. Experience working in a large, global enterprise network. Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GSEC, GCFA, or CISSP a plus.
