RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA.Duties Include:- Data Analyst will interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and -clean- data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Establish strong partnerships with business stewards and lead data stewardship efforts
- Transforms meaningful data into digestible and actionable insights
- Performs ad hoc analytics to resolve and inform accurate requirements gathering
- Document data definitions and key business metric calculations
- Document technical requirements for data engineering and cross-functional teams to execute against
- As a Data Analyst, you will work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and surveys, to create accurate and meaningful reports
- Write clear and concise reports that summarize key findings and insights and present them in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and tailor reports to meet those needs
- Data Analysts collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure data needs are met, and to identify new opportunities for reporting
- Identify areas for improvement in reporting processes and recommending changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience using BI toolsets such as Power BI, Tableau
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Azure cloud experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
