Desktop Support Technician V

My top client is looking to hire a Desktop Support Technician for their team! This is a contract position in Ramsey, MN for a top global company.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides IT desktop services/support for projects involving technical rollouts and upgrades.
• Imaging and configuration of computer systems.
• User data migration.
• Facilitate accurate record by ensuring equipment asset tags are updated in system.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT procedures by identifying opportunities for improvement, sharing best practices and updating documentation, as necessary

Qualifications

• Experience in Information Technology and customer service
• Knowledge of general computer troubleshooting and desktop support.
• Familiar with computer imaging processes.
• Terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common computer, software, information and communication technology devices, components, and concepts.
• Communicate, both verbal and written information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner
• Understand the needs and goals of a customer and actively look for ways to meet them
• Assume a methodical approach to evaluate situations
• Keep logs, records and files up-to-date and readily accessible
• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
