Purpose and Scope:

The Director, Managed Testing Services purpose is to develop and operate testing center of excellence adopting state of the art test automating solutions and tools. This position is responsible for establishing a risk based testing approach, significantly improving the efficiency in delivery of Programs & Projects and lowering BAU operations costs at the highest quality.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and operate a Testing Center of Excellence with state of the art Automated and intelligent testing solutions.
• Partner with Programs & Projects, DevOps teams in planning the demand pipeline for Testing and deliver a complete suite of testing services that covers all aspects of testing (SIT, UAT Support & Management, Day in the Life Simulations, Performance & Stress testing, Regression).
• Develop and Report on Testing KPI(s) comparing them to industry benchmarks. Continuously look for improving the efficiencies and automation opportunities that will drive high quality and the speed & consistency of testing delivery.
• Partner with IS Risk & Compliance and QA teams in adopting a Risk basked Testing and Validation approach. Establish a mechanism for periodic update of the testing processes and procedures in alignment to the latest Life sciences Industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance to all compliance and regulations for Testing & Validation

• Reports to VP, Head of Digital Business Solutions
• Peers: Executive Director Constellation Program; Executive Director Business Products & Platforms; Director Innovation Programs; Senior Director Programs & Projects, Senior Director Apple Program, Director Application Controls
• Close collaboration with IS Programs & Projects and IS Digital Strategic Partner
• Close collaboration with IS Architecture, Platform & Technology teams
• Strong Partnership with Business Leads & Team members (all functions)
• Close collaboration with SME(s) of Major Software vendor(s), Digital/IS Service Provider(s) and Systems Integrators.
• Strong partnership with IS Risk & Compliance & QA teams
