Description: Our client is currently seeking a Electrical Controls Manager for building, leading, and training a team of advanced electrical technicians and apprentices to support production equipment and processes division wide. This is a manager's position that will oversee a handful of automation / controls engineers. The position works from around 6 am until 2:30pm & is responsible for successful and timely completion of projects, so OT may be mandatory as necessary and is paid time. We anticipate hours to be 50 per week on average. Candidates coming in with National Electrical Code (NEC) experience is preferred

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Able to safely and proficiently lead execution of advanced troubleshooting and design of code compliant electrical circuits and systems; single and three phases, up to 480V
• Able to safely and proficiently lead execution of troubleshooting, planning and installation of lighting systems and lighting fixtures throughout the facility
• Able to safely and proficiently lead execution of troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of circuits, automated machinery and systems containing relay logic, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and associated components.
• Able to safely and proficiently lead execution of basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks related to circuits, automated machinery and systems.
• Observation and promotion of all safety rules and policies, especially LOTO/Arc Flash
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma - Degree Preferred
• 3+ years proven leadership history within an electrical maintenance setting
• Working knowledge of NEC code and Journeyman level workmanship
• Ability to use a Multi Meter for troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
• Proven history of success troubleshooting VFD, PLC, and HMI components
