Summary of Duties:

The Electrician performs journey level troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and installing or replacing of electrical service and specialty systems in industrial/commercial/educational facilities. Maintains and repairs facility electrical distribution system ranging from 12 volt to over 750 volts

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as an electrician; or full journey status as an electrician in a union; or four years' applicable work experience. Vocational training may be substituted for work experience on a year-for-year basis.

• Must possess, or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid, unrestricted driver's license.

• Must possess a current Washington State EL-01 Electrical License/Certificate OR a reciprocal electrical license recognized by Washington State.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work experience within the last 5 years with electrical maintenance or construction for institutional, educational or commercial type facilities, able to obtain Nicet certification.
