Electronics Manufacturing Lead

Perform a vast variety of assembly and inspection operations on electronic circuit boards and subassemblies while also helping to lead and train fellow employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed assembly, soldering, and inspection of electronic circuit boards.
• Use soldering irons, basic hand tools, a microscope, and assembly fixtures.
• Must be able to interpret and react to schematics, drawings, and Bill of Materials to complete operations to customer specifications.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to workmanship standards.
• Train other employees in advanced soldering and inspection skills as required.
• Must be able to use basic test equipment such as DMM's, power supplies, and LCR meters to test components and production circuit boards, as well as troubleshoot and repair non-working circuit boards.
• Operate S.M.T. Pick and Place machine as well as Selective Solder machine.
• Assist in daily shipping operations of product, including bubble wrapping, boxing, and using UPS. shipping software.
• Assist the Supervisor with daily operations as needed.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or certificate in related electronics manufacturing field is a plus.
• 5 or more years of relevant test, soldering and soldering Inspection preferred.
• Current IPC-A-610 or J-STD soldering certification desirable.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, who can take on many responsibilities.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Team player with a high level to quality detail.
• Prior team lead experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organization skills are a must.
• Ability to use computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
