Engineering Project Manager - Automotive Tech Startup *Job Title:* Engineering Project Manager
*Location:* Sunnyvale, CA (HYBRID - a few days in office)
*Salary:* $130k-$150k DOE + Stock Options
*Requirements:* 8+ yrs project management experience leading complex software releases

We are a well-funded, fast growing company creating the next generation of automotive technology that allows cars to deploy software infrastructure and data centers. Our technology is self-deployed, self-monitored, self-scaling, and self-healing. We have won multiple prestigious awards and are partnered with one of the biggest car brands. Due to growth, we are looking to add an organized, tenacious engineering project manager to define, manage, and support our engineering projects. Must be an excellent communicator who can work cross functionally to coordinate and communicate project status, follow up on action items, and identify solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You Will Be Doing - Drive internal engineering teams
- Develop project plans, monitor schedules, document agreements
meeting minutes, track action items status, and drive issues to successful closure
- Coordinate and manage software releases and engineering change requests
- Lead multiple simultaneous projects, and develop mitigation plans when challenges surface
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, while providing regular updates and communication to cross functional teams and partners
- presenting reports and providing status updates to different teams
- work cross functionally on large, complex programs with a high level of ambiguity while strategically leading programs to success
- Utilize technical background and engineering methodology to prioritize and tackle complex problems
What You Need for this Position *Must Haves:*
- 8+ yrs project management experience leading complex software releases
- Strong understanding of the SDLC / posses a technical background
- Experience managing projects from initiation to completion
- Experience with Agile PM process
- Experience working on one or more areas: Embedded Software, Cloud Networking, TCP/IP based products, or Automotive industry
