Salary: $75.00 USD Hourly - $90.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineering Supervisor (Network & Systems)
This position will be primarily remote - onsite in Long Beach, CA 1-3x per month for meetings.
o Someone that can help with day to day operational work. Struggling right now because current day team is a small lean group and handle everything from ops/lights/projects
o More operational type resource
o Help interact with vendors, deal with software renewals, help manage service and incident tickets, and any other administrative tasks.
o Network - Cisco Shop, Palo Alto Firewalls
o Systems - Windows, Some Linux, VMWare shop, Cisco UCS Servers, NetApp Storage. In the cloud experience with primarily Azure, AWS, Teams, OneDrive and Microsoft suite
o Vendor Management - work with a lot of vendors, lots of renewals that we make sure we address. Budgeting on these tools SCAN is using. A lot of communication and approvals, working with various departments. Hardware/Software - new orders, delivery is on time and handled.
o Renewals/Licensing - someone that can track the usage of some of the licensing and compliant with their agreements. Staying within compliance
o Service Request Management & Incident Tickets - Avanti is the tool they use for ticketing. Easy to learn. Struggle they have now is the same team that is working on critical projects, have to also maintain the day to day work and handle these tickets. Need to alleviate some of that pain, stay on top of staff to ensure the lights are staying on.
