ECS is seeking a Enterprise Architect - Intermediate to work in our Washington DC office.

Job Description:

  • Experience with establishing enterprise direction and recommending improvements to the IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with integration of Federal information application and programs.
  • Experience with cataloging, developing, coordination and building enterprise models.
  • Ensure the efficiency, security, and support of the Federal organization's goal.
  • Create methods from compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management and change control.
  • Create architecture development plans following the approved and accepted architecture practice.
  • Create and maintain architecture models effectively and ensure changes are controlled.
  • Develop the necessary architecture models that answer questions to establish the to be state.
  • Take existing data and information and develop our mature architecture models that describe the current and/or target state architecture.
  • Support the development of roadmaps and strategy.
  • Support as needed different working groups to provide information and to collect information to add additional details to the architecture.
  • Support the development of facilitation working group session material.
  • Assist in the facilitations sessions to include leading specific areas to reviewing data and getting group consensus.
  • Assess architecture models to identify gaps, overlaps, or areas that need to be addressed.
  • Assist in the development of various process models, data models, and network models.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000

Required Skills:
  • Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Provide direction to federal stakeholder with design process, documentation essential IT procedures.
  • Maintain security focus with design processes.
  • Evaluate internal functions and developed business strategies to aligned with IT Modernization.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
  • Must have working experience in applying the DoDAF six step process.
  • Must have the ability to transfer data collected from meetings and create architecture models.
  • Must have the ability to assist in data gathering meetings from leading specific data gathering sections to capture comments from the participants.

Desired Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience is system architecture in the Federal Government.
  • Experience in modeling and graphic presentations.
