Epic Client Systems Administrator - On-site

Our client in Philadelphia is looking for an Epic Client System Analyst (Epic Client System Manager, ECSM or ECSA) to join their team. This is a permanent role by way of contract-to-hire with a very well-known organization. This is 100% on-site.

Position Description:

• Standard ECSM or ECSA (Epic Client System Manager or Administrator) role
• As the organization goes through inventory sheets and blueprints, gap analysis, get workstations and printers set up in Epic.
• Create, manage, and maintain EPR and LWS records
• Work with Epic print servers and Epic client services (Cantu, Haiku, etc.)
• Epic and Windows Server Administration
• Working with clients and working with the teams
• Work some On-call and standard shift during the day
• Work on Epic Web Services (Interconnect, My Chart, etc.)
• Work on ~40 Windows Servers
• Quarterly update package on multiple servers (take off load balancer, upgrade and put back on)
• Work closely with Application Coordinators and epic support team via WebEx and conference calls
• Work in office at least 3 days/week (+2 days from home), with some remote work on off hours as needed

Required Skills:

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Epic Client Systems - Interconnect, My Chart, EpicLink, Care Everywhere, Relay servers, Lucy, Haiku, and/or Canto
• Some Epic certifications (ECSM, ESCA, the following Epic certifications) - Hyperspace (ECSA101), BLOB, Business Continuity & Print Service (ECSA102), and Hyperspace Web, Interconnect & System Pulse (ECSA105)
• Windows Server experience
• 5+ years experience in a healthcare IT role
• Some Windows Administration background preferred
• Ability to learn and pick up new things
• Very proactive to find work independently
• Strong communication skills to work well with the team

Bonus Skills:

• Any familiarity with IIS
• MyChart Certification (ECSA110)
• Care Everywhere Certification (ECSA115)

• Familiarity with using the jexport process to import or export LWS (workstation) and EPR (Epic Printer Record) records
• Relevant industry experience
• Epic 2020 understanding a bonus
• Client site skills
• Basic troubleshooting, basic PC support, basic Active Directory
