This position is responsible for development and maintenance of Doosan Bobcat parts manuals for use by dealers and customers globally. This includes researching, analyzing and processing engineering releases, change notices, service parts lists and vendor change notices. The Coordinator will also convert existing and new service parts information into electronic format for production of parts manuals, and electronic parts manuals distributed to Doosan Bobcat dealers. They will also work with Engineering, Service, Aftermarket and vendors to implement changes needed to support Doosan Bobcat customer requirements.

Role & Responsibility

Manuals & Technical Documents

  • Review Engineering Change Notices (ECN's), or assign review responsibilities to other internal or external resources, to identify changes requiring revisions to existing Doosan Bobcat manuals or creation of new manuals or other aftermarket technical documentation.
  • Participate in product team meetings as needed to identify any changes to current manuals or the creation of new manuals or documentation.
  • Identify requirements for photos, illustrations, or other visual representations of equipment or components necessary to support creation or revision of manuals and other aftermarket technical documentation. Coordinate creation of this content with internal or external resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that the accuracy of all manuals is maintained, and issues or discrepancies are resolved.
  • Coordinate the creation of additional manuals and other aftermarket technical documentation with internal and external resources.
  • Assist in development of written standards and work instructions to define the evolving work requirements for the position.
  • Publish new or revised manuals or coordinate the publishing of these manuals with internal or external resources.
Parts-Specific Duties
  • Create Service Change Notices (SCN) or Supplier Change Requests (SCR) based on requirements identified in ECN reviews or supplier notifications.
  • Process changes identified in ECN or SCN reviews to release new or revise current aftermarket parts to internal company systems.
  • Work with component vendors to gather and release Service part information.
  • Create or revise electronic Parts Manuals to reflect new products or product changes.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Associates degree in Technical, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience Required: 2>5 years.
  • Technical knowledge of construction, automotive or similar equipment. Knowledge of Bobcat products or a parts business or products preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Pro-E, illustration or publishing software experience a plus.
  • Travel Required: < 10%.
