Role Description:

Lead development, monitoring and delivery of AMP reporting and tracking of all sustainability data for internal/external report as well as for third-party certifications, such as CDP, S&P, Ecovadis, ASI, and more, including analysis. Direct and manage all public-facing documents such as the annual sustainability report and greenbond report, including content creation. Assist with reporting on targets such as carbon footprint reduction, material reduction, water stewardship, optimal sourcing, zero waste, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on various reporting, certification and qualification projects that enhance AMP's sustainability reputation across customers and investors, e.g. ASI qualifications, spend qualification for Green Bond, CDP grading, etc.
  • Manage communications related to AMP sustainability performance and requirements from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), including content and support for AMP sustainability reports as well as queries from customers and investors.
  • Ensure integrated and aligned communications approach, considering all audiences and communications channels, that align with AMP sustainability messaging.
  • Develop sustainability content discussing achievements to engage our stakeholders on company sustainability commitments.
  • Benchmark industry suppliers, peers and customers for best-in-class sustainability projects, achievements and associated communications.
  • Manage the flow of ESG data to stakeholders, including evolving customers' sustainability information requirements, working closely with the global sustainability team to assess data quality and ensure consistent reporting with customers and, as needed, investor and third-party certification organizations.
  • Partner with finance team leads and support annual financial reporting requirements including analysis on ESG topics [e.g., Task Force for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)].

Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 10+ years of related experience that includes direct experience with ESG reporting, including working with reporting and ratings frameworks
  • B.S. in the sciences, engineering, sustainability or public relations
  • Demonstrated experience in working with multiple stakeholders to successfully execute action plans
  • Ability to influence at senior levels across the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills with high levels of motivation, initiative and energy
  • Strong project management skills
