We are looking for an experienced Event Planner for our Alumni team.
• Job Description: Event planner to assist with small to large scale event planning including fundraising. Looking for someone event-driven with experience in planning/strategy and execution. Someone who is extremely organized - calling venues, looking at budgeting, plans ahead with scheduling dates to send out saves the dates, invites, etc.
• Salary Range: $36/hr.
• Temp Role until August - could go longer
• Work Schedule/ Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30pm-5pm in office, Nights and weekends for events - must have flexibility for changing schedule and always be open nights and weekends
• In-person, hybrid or remote role? In person, travel required to different CA campuses (1-3 times per month). Will compensate for mileage.
• Location of the position: Irvine
Job Function Knowledge:
• Event planning and marketing knowledge. Marketing more of someone who is creative and will look at the whole picture of event planning with timelines.
• Education & Certifications. Bachelors' degree
• Minimum level of relatable experience. 3 yrs
• Past experience with large scale events and knowledge of marketing. Flexible and fast working with great multi-tasking skills.
