Event Project Coordinator - $50K-$60K - Washington, DC

Our client, a healthcare-focused non-profit, is currently seeking a temporary to permanent Event Project Coordinator to provide support to their teams!

About the Job:

• Identify, negotiate, and procure vendors and resources for fundraising events.
• Review and route contracts for internal approvals, track deliverables, and manage contract dates for the development department.
• Process event invoices and contracts through the Accounts Payable system, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
• Research and secure all necessary permits in event cities, serving as the primary coordinator for all event phases.
• Manage shipping/receiving for all activities, maintain a master calendar of events, and collaborate with Communications Department to manage event deliverables and sponsorship benefits.
• Coordinate with the development team to plan and secure event-related travel, adhere to budgets, reconcile expense financials post-event, and conduct post-event evaluations with performance matrices.

About You:

• A Bachelor's degree is required for this role.
• 2+ years of proven event planning experience is required; preferably in a non-profit.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; technologically savvy.
• Experience with Concur is preferred.
• Able to travel for 12 events annually.

About the Position:

• $22/hr-$25/hr while temporary
• $50K-$60K when permanent
• Temporary to permanent position.
• Hybrid schedule with 2 days/week onsite.
• Office in Washington, DC.
