The Excellerate Associate Constructability manager is responsible for taking construction information, prioritizing and translating the information into the production process. This role works hand in hand with Preproduction, VDC, Engineering, Operations, and Project Management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 5+ years of field and/or manufacturing experience

Travel: 0-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Can successfully meet goals without an established detailed process.
  • Can successfully manage multiple projects, products, and tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Is an exceptional representative of Excellerate with both internal and external customers.
  • Assists with project and preproduction estimates and proposals.
  • Assists with coordinating design activities with consultants, subcontractor partners and clients.
  • Keeps production leadership informed as to all open or unresolved design issues and tracks design changes.
  • Works with the internal project team(s) to facilitate the development of the project design and design documentation to ensure it meets all projects, goals, objectives, and budgets.
  • Provides guidance to project teams during design phase to ensure that manufacturing activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and engineering, design, and CAD project timelines.
  • Supports and takes direction from Constructability Manager(s).
  • Drawing review and redlines of fabrication, manufacturing, construction prints.
  • Maintaining all drawings, including redlines in folder structure for access to all.
  • BIM issue and RFI resolution.
  • Manufacturing review of model to align with production.
  • Communication and collaboration with Inventor Team on creation and testing of custom parts.
  • Proactively looking for building clashes and providing solutions.
  • Coordinate with VDC and Engineering on changes of missing information in construction drawings and fabrication drawings.
  • Manage project strategy during family creation and model content population.
  • Identifying building methods for sections not included in prints.
  • Breakdown manufacturing drawings to a level of detail that can be understood in production cells.
  • Adjustments to builds to streamline installation/creation.
  • Standardizing print information.
  • Verification of specifications and submittals for building methods.
  • Assist with monthly WIPs and other financial reports ensuring to stay under forecasted amounts.
  • Identifies/plans manufacturing optimization and ensure standard manufactured drawings are provided.
  • Supports developing Excellerate processes.
  • Capture and assist with the evaluation and implementation of lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Demonstrates approachability and ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence.
  • Drive utilization of established processes and standards for Preproduction and Production teams.
  • Support FTI leadership with coordination items during project execution.
  • Understands overall Excellerate direction and capabilities.
  • Receive and capture feedback from project teams on sequence, duration, logistics, and work package content.
  • Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
